Midland Warriors RFC was formed in 2006 to represent the districts of Moate, Castledaly, Ballymore, Rosemount ,Mount Temple/Baylin, Tubber and other surrounding areas The club fields teams from Under 8s up to Under 17s and in the 2010/2011 season the club fielded a senior side in the J1 Leinster league for the first time in the clubs short history.
