Athenry Taekwon-Do Tigers is a children's Taekwon-Do programme under the auspices of the Galway Taekwon-Do School, which is recognised by the Republic of Ireland Taekwon-Do Association (RITA), International Taekwon-Do Federation and Irish Martial Arts Commission. The Galway Taekwon-Do School's Senior Instructor is Master Mark O Donnell VII Dan ITF. www.galwaytkd.com Classes in Athenry are held in District Health & Fitness every Thursday. Tigers Class (6-8 year olds) is from 3.30 to 4.30pm and the Dragons Class (9-12 year olds) is from 4.30to 5.30pm The programme is specially designed for children ages 6 to 12 years of age. The principles are the same as General Choi's Taekwon-Do, but the focus is on developing core skills in this particular age group while having fun! Follow on programmes will be available also for older children.
